Magic Kingdom
- Mickey's PhilharMagic's refurbishment will last longer; it will now reopening September 28.
- Disney releasaed some new information for Mickey's Not So-So-Scary Halloween Party including Club Villain at Diamond Horseshoe featuring Cruella De Vil, Dr. Facilier, Anastasia, Drizella, and Lady Tremaine. Also, Jafar, Queen of Hearts, and Losto will be meeting guests at the party this year. In addition, meeting with Aurora will be Maleficient and meeting with Snow White will be the Queen at Princess Fairytale Hall. Also Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope will take part in the Creepa Crew.
- The "Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It" Street Party will see a new name, the "Move It, Shake It, Dance and Play It" Street Party, as well as new characters, like Stitch and Phineas and Ferb, and the dance party will culminate in a new twist where guests will decide the final song to be played for the “Play It” portion by voting for one of three current hits. The new version debuts in the Fall.
- The Enchanted Tiki Room will be closed for a refurb from September 27 through October 3.
Epcot
- The Cranberry Bog will not return this year for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
- Four new ChargePoint charging spaces are now available at the front of the Journey parking lot are available for Guests to use by scanning their pre-ordered ChargePoint card, which can be easily acquired by registering for a free ChargePoint account
Downtown Disney
- The Irish Hooley will return to Raglan Road for Labor Day Weekend.
General Walt Disney World News
- The Festival of the Masters has been cancelled for 2014 due to construction at Downtown Disney.
- Monorail service will see a different schedule during the month of September
- Magic Kingdom Resort beam - 8:30am to 11pm (midnight on hard-ticket events evenings)
- Magic Kingdom Express beam - 9:30am to 1 hour after fireworks
- Epcot beam - 9am to 11pm
