News


Magic Kingdom

• The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh will be closed from Jan. 22th -24th,   
• The Barnstomer will be down for a quick refurb from Jan. 29th -30th.
• Long Lost Friends Week, part of Limited Time Magic, will take place from Jan. 21th - 27th. It will take place in Town Square from 9 am - 2:10 pm. Characters that are slated to appear are Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar, Robin Hood, Friar Tuck, The Three Little Pigs, and a few other surprises.
• Celebrate the Magic is showing the Valentine's/Romance edition.

Epcot

• In Innoventions, IBM THINK has opened and Habit Heroes has also reopened after a very LONG refurbishment. (basically redo with a completely new story.)
• LeCellier now has a single menu. It will no longer be split into lunch and dinner. 
• The Epcot Food and Wine Festival will take place Sept. 27th - Nov. 10th.

Disney's Animal Kingdom

• Disney has announced that a new Wilderness Explorers interactive game based on the movie Up.  It will allow guests to complete challenges and earn badges.  More than 30 badges can be obtained.  It will be launched in Spring. 

General WDW News

• More Limited Time Magic information has been released.  True Love Week is Feb. 11th -17th at the Magic Kingdom where Cinderella Castle will blush pink and red while lovebirds celebrate a week filled with royal Prince and Princess Meet 'N' Greets and limited-edition Disney Valentine collectibles.
  Independence Week July 1st -7th at the Magic Kingdom the 4th of July is seven days long this year as Disney salutes America with a spectacular 4th of July Fireworks Party. Everything will be red, white and blue, from the fireworks and Cinderella Castle down to special-edition patriotic souvenirs. Unleash the Villains Friday, Sep 13th at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Disney villains are so excited about Friday the 13th! Join in the fun for a night of mischief and a villainous dance party that will last until the 13th hour (1 a.m.)
• The Tower of Terror 10 Miler will take place Oct. 4th - 5th.  

Rumors

• Camp Minnie-Mickey is rumored to be closing on or around March 30th.
