- Free dining is expected to be offered to Disney Visa Card holders starting April 29th and May 2nd to the general public. No word on what type of plan will be offered. - With World of Color opening soon at DCA, many are speculating whether the show will make it's way to Walt Disney World. Many believe that it would work at Disney's Animal Kingdom, but I'm hearing that's a no go. However, I have heard that some of the effects may be worked into a revamped Illuminations or possibly a replacement.

I'm all about the Disney Travel Channel shows! Yay!
I'm disappointed that World of Color won't open at DCA until after my trip. :(
Thanks for keeping us abreast of Disney news/rumors, as always!
Love the blog today. Do you know when they are expecting the announcement about the dining package? How does that affect you if you're a season passholder?
Rachel
You mean about the free dining package? I would expect we should know a few days before it actually gets released...so anytime now...which version of free dining will be offered.
If you're an AP holder, you will have to purchase a package to get the free dining...which means you'll have to at least purchase a 1 day park ticket. You can't just book room only rates and get free dining. It must be included in package form only.
Hope this helps and if I was unclear, let me know. :)
