How long will Space Mountain be down and what are they doing to it?

Space Mountain will be down until (as of word right now) November 22nd. Word is still very sketchy on what they plan on doing.

I hear (at least now) that they are replacing the tracks with new track that follows the same pattern as before, adding gates to the area before you board, and re-doing the loading area. Now, as for other things...that is a toss up. It's been rumored that they might re-do both the queue and the exit area, plus the ramp...but none of that is concrete. They are being quite hush-hush about this refurb, so not a whole lot is actually known.

Thanks :) I hope they don't change it TOO much, although I loved the change to the haunted mansion, pirates was a little disappointing. That is a LONG refurb isn't it? almost 7 months? Wow!
