Tables of Wonderland...What?!

Disney recently announced that the Disney Dining Experience Card has changed names. Starting on Sept. 15, what was previously called the DDE, will now be called Tables of Wonderland.

I can understand wanting to change the name. I mean with the Disney Dining Plan and Disney Dining Experience, the two had such similar names. It was sometimes easy to get the two confused for a seasoned Disney traveller. Imagine how confusing things must have been for a complete newby to the "World of Disney." And Disney doesn't want to confuse their guests.

But Tables of Wonderland? Is that the best they could come up with or was this just the first name that came to them and they went...yep...sounds decent...let's go with it.

And I actually have to go and purchase one of these in the next few days. So, I'm expect to say, "Yes, I'd like to buy the Tables of Wonderland card." Man, will that be interesting.

The good news, all the perks you got for DDE will still be the same. You will still get 20% off of your meals, including alcohol. (With 18% added back for tip). You'll still get free valet parking. And of course, up until next Saturday, you'll still get half off at the clubs at Pleasure Island.

I just really don't want to have to admit to owning a card so oddly named. lol!!!

A reminder:

As you all may know, I leave for Disney in a few short days (3 to be exact). Therefore, this blog will be taking a bit of a hiatus. I will try my hardest to get the News & Rumors out on Saturday, since I leave on Sunday, but next week's Wednesday article will not be appearing. Can't wait to visit The House of Mouse!!! See you all real soon!!!!
